For those of you who can stay with me for a while, please read on:

During your visit, you may find some of my neighbors to be interesting, or you may be looking for a place to call your home on the web.....hint: 20 MB is a big home indeed!

FortuneCity is, in my opinion, the best place on the web to build a home!

I try to vary the style of new pages in an attempt to intrigue everyone eventually, so if the first couple of pages just are not your style, do keep browsing. It is quite likely that you will find something in my pages which will convey to your visitors precisely the you which fits your goal.

There are color-coordinated graphic sets for 'home-y' homepages, a set or two for the li'l ones' pages and for the out-of-doors folks, some special sets. Many of my sets for pages, I'll gladly admit are for the ladies out there who spend their moments of solitude in daydreams of the future or in those of the past or in... shopping!

Getting back to the subjects at hand, there are pages upon pages of borders...those squiggles of color or page edges and backgrounds which can endear or impress. I want to stress that it is a pleasure to me to arrive online to discover that my mailbox is stuffed full of suggestions, comments, complaints and anything else you people wish to send to me. As they say, keep those cards and letters coming !

The bookmark

For those of you who neither figured it out on your maiden voyages across the world wide web, nor learned on subsequent adventures how to bookmark your favorite pages, you can do it! With Internet Explorer, click on "Favorites" and then on "Add." If you browse with Netscape, you can click on "Communicator," then on "Bookmarks," then on "Add" to bookmark those special websites, like this one!

To download any of the graphic images on this site, please hit your browser's "back" button to get yourself back here when you need to...or, I guess you might know that already. *blush*

You folks can download from this site by placing the mouse cursor over the desired graphic and right-clicking. When a popup menu appears, select the "Save this image as" or the "Save picture as" option. Clicking on the "Save" or the "OK" button will save the image to your hard drive.

This part is really important:

You may then upload the file(s) to your server.

Coffee or tea

Pour yourself a nice, hot cup of your favorite blend of coffee or tea (decaf, please...the idea is to relax here) in as large of a cup as you can possibly find.

I am currently working on installing a jukebox, but until it's ready, why don't you play your favorite music yourself? Just slip that CD, cassette, 8-track or album in or on its machine, grab your comfy slippers and maybe a cuddly throw and join me here for some peaceful time, browsing through oodles of graphics.

Whether you're looking for handsome office graphics or something with a lighter spirit, something by kimmie_sue might catch your eye.

I want your stay here to be a pleasurable one! If, at any time, you'd like to make a quick comment about this site or about something you've seen here, click on my name at the bottom of any page. I spend most days fiddling with, you guessed it, graphics! A pleasant distraction for me is reading and responding to email, so keep those cards and letters coming ! I can't get enough mail. Yes, you may take that as a challenge if you'd like one. {wink}

Graphics

Just where DID I find the time to create all this COLOR? Let me put it as bluntly as I can...I don't get out much. Seriously, I get most of my ideas for by just playing with color, as a child. Sometimes, the memory of a pattern of colors will return to my mind, plain as day, and I will use that.

Designing a graphic set for webpages is neither extremely difficult nor expensive (except as far as time goes), but I have had both the time to learn (still learning) and TONS of time to invest in trying to perfect my designs for you .

My thingie

I suppose that everything comes with a price. My graphics won't cost you any money...that's just not why I create them.

I would like for you to copy my 'logo' and attach it with a link back to my website...but it is not required.

If you use my graphics on your own web page/site, I want you to take just a moment during your busy day to really appreciate the simple things you are able to do.

If you have more than that one moment, maybe you could do a thing or two for someone less able to do for himself.

'Nuff said. Let's get the show on the road!
